Tour Booking Information & Guidelines
We believe in keeping our taxi services simple, clear and transparent. This page provides useful information about our rental types, vehicle options and booking arrangements, helping you understand our services and plan your trip with confidence.
Rental Types
Understanding Taxi Rental Types:
Understanding the difference between Point-to-Point Basis and Disposal Basis will help you know how transportation services are arranged during your tour.
Disposal Basis:
Under Disposal Basis, a vehicle stays with you throughout the rental period and can be used according to your travel needs, including additional trips and evening outings, subject to the agreed rental terms.
Point-to-Point Basis:
Point-to-point rental is a common arrangement for sightseeing tours and travel packages across Sikkim and Darjeeling. Our tour transportation also follows this arrangement, with services provided according to the confirmed itinerary.
For example, on your arrival day, the driver picks you up from the airport/railway station and drops you at your hotel. The next morning, the driver returns at the scheduled time, covers the sightseeing places included in your itinerary, and drops you back at your hotel.
The vehicle leaves after completing each day's scheduled service and returns for the next planned journey. It is not available for personal use outside the scheduled itinerary.
Flexibility During Your Tour:
We understand that a comfortable holiday sometimes requires a little flexibility.
For example, after sightseeing, you may prefer to be dropped at a nearby market or another nearby convenient location instead of your hotel.
We always try to accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible, depending on the route, schedule and local conditions.
Our Pricing Approach
We believe in offering fair and competitive prices from the beginning. Our quotations are carefully prepared with our best possible rates to remain competitive in the market.
As we already offer our best possible prices, we are unable to provide further discounts. Our aim is to keep pricing fair, transparent and straightforward for every customer.
Package Inclusions & Exclusions
Our tour quotations cover transportation services as per the confirmed itinerary. The fare generally includes fuel, toll charges, parking fees, driver allowances, and applicable vehicle permits for Tsomgo (Chhangu) Lake and North Sikkim (Lachung), as specified in your quotation.
Sightseeing attraction entry tickets, personal expenses, meals, and optional activities are not included in the transportation fare.
We recommend reviewing the inclusions mentioned in your quotation to understand exactly what is covered in your tour package.
Vehicle Options & Availability
For SUV bookings, vehicles may include Innova, Crysta, Xylo or Scorpio N, depending on availability.
For hatchback bookings, vehicles may include WagonR or a similar vehicle. Depending on availability, a vehicle from a higher category may also be provided.
The vehicle models mentioned in your quotation indicate the available options within the selected category. A specific vehicle model is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
We always try to provide a clean, comfortable and well-maintained vehicle for your journey. If you have a preference for a particular model, please let us know before confirming your booking. We will do our best to accommodate your preference, subject to availability.
Important Information for Nathula Pass
Nathula Pass is an optional excursion and involves an additional charge.
For SUV Travelers
Due to limited permits and parking space near Nathula Pass, vehicle sharing (clubbing) may sometimes be arranged by local tourism authorities, particularly during peak tourist seasons. However, this may also happen at other times, depending on permit availability, official instructions and local conditions.
Guests traveling in a dedicated SUV can usually continue in their own vehicle. However, in certain circumstances, they may be required to share their vehicle with other travelers or join another vehicle for the Nathula Pass visit.
If vehicle sharing is required, it generally takes place at the Nathula checkpoint, approximately 3–4 km before Nathula Pass, and applies only to the short journey between the checkpoint and the pass.
For Hatchback Travelers
Hatchback & Sedan segment vehicles do not travel up to Nathula Pass. Guests traveling in a WagonR or similar hatchback will use a shared SUV from the Nathula checkpoint for the final 3–4 km journey to Nathula Pass.
After the Nathula Pass visit, guests return to the checkpoint and continue their journey in their dedicated vehicle.
Please Note: Any vehicle-sharing arrangement is subject to permit conditions and instructions from local tourism authorities and is beyond our control.
